    Salary: $7,461.49 [step 1] – $9,091.17 [step 5].

    A maximum placement of step 5 is negotiable dependent upon education and experience. Administrators that possess earned doctorates from accredited institutions are awarded an annual stipend of $1,434.

    Job Duties: Plans, organizes and controls the operations and maintenance of the Professional Learning Network (PLN ), a professional development web portal accessible to all California Community Colleges faculty, staff and administrators; manages the design and maintenance of the website and databases, including coordinating with other divisions, departments and outside agencies/vendors; liaises with the Chancellor’s Office and Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI ) Advisory Committee to ensure alignment of strategic focus of PLN as new enhancements and functionality are planned and implemented and presents status reports to IEPI professional development work group; and performs related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:
    • Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience in the design, development and deployment of database-driven websites, two of which in a supervisory capacity.
    NOTE : • For work experience, a “year” is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months.
    • If the position requires supervisory experience, the experience must be at a professional level (i.e. evaluation and/or discipline of staff). AND • Education: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in computer science or a related field. Transcripts must be included to receive credit for education and/or to substitute education in lieu of experience (i.e. Bachelor’s degree = 4 years of experience). http://www2.palomar.edu/pages/hr/files/2017/02/Guidelines-for-MQs-Acceptable-Equivalents-2.2017.pdf. Only coursework completed at, and degrees awarded by, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education will be considered as satisfying the minimum qualifications.
