    Student Health Administrative Assistant Palomar College Palomar College, founded in 1946, is a comprehensive, two-year community college that serves the greater North San Diego County region. Department: Health Services (Dept) Salary: $4,520.90 Full or Part Time: Full-Time Date Opened: 06/04/2018 Close Date: 06/18/2018 Job Duties: Performs difficult, sensitive and confidential administrative and technical support duties for Health Services; creates and maintains tracking systems, reports, records and files required for work processes and student health programs; coordinates the department’s administrative functions with other District departments and programs; provides support and information to part-time Health Services faculty who provide behavioral health services to students. Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: • Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible clerical and secretarial experience, including one year of experience supporting medical clinical services. • NOTE : o For work experience, a “year” is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months. AND • Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Only coursework completed at, and degrees awarded by, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education will be considered as satisfying the minimum qualifications.
